Virtue (Buyan)

The work is based on Byambyn Rinchyn's poem 'Buyan'. The text is executed in traditional Mongolian vertical script and transformed into a relief structure of the painted surface. Writing functions as a material element of the composition, forming rhythm and spatial depth. The layered accumulation of texture is correlative with the concept of virtue as a repeated action.
